Between our recent Open Mic and putting the finishing touches on our upcoming issue (now at the final design stage!), we almost forgot to share this little milestone.
Back in March, IndigoTeen Magazine was named one of the three finalists at Awesome Newcastle. Pitching the magazine to local business leaders and community members was both exciting and slightly terrifying — a bit like Shark Tank, except everyone was lovely, so perhaps more of a Fish Tank 
We didn’t swim away with the main prize — that honour went to a fantastic local surfing project — but we were blown away by the support and encouragement we received.
And who knows? Maybe an ocean-themed issue is calling our name…
